Is it even functional?

Spiral shelves climb skyward like modernist Towers of Babel, while metallic chairs freeze in stillness, as if they were monuments to their own functionality. It’s a dance of forms, where brutalism meets fluidity, and utility dissolves into artistic vision. Each object in this collection seems to question its own identity. Greenish shelves, reminiscent of urban micro-districts, stand proudly next to organic, undulating side tables that could just as well be sculptures in a contemporary art gallery. It’s a dialogue between form and function, where neither side wishes to concede primacy.
In the black and white photograph, where a human silhouette dissolves like mist, the multi-level display furniture becomes the protagonist—an architectural construction that could be a miniature city for glass and porcelain. It’s a manifestation of the idea that everyday objects can transcend the boundaries of their intended purpose. In this surrealistic furniture collection, each element is simultaneously functional and dysfunctional, utilitarian and artistic, real and abstract. It’s a study of how far design can be pushed before an object loses its primary function and becomes pure art.
